Christmas Waffles



Here is a waffle for the season, with fresh cranberries and spices of the holidays. If you enjoy cranberry sauce, you have to try this dish. 

This sauce is full of holiday flavors and a great way to start your morning. 



Cranberry Sauce

2 12oz bag fresh cranberries
2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
2 cups water

Combine all in a sauce pan and cook on medium high heat until the berries start to burst stirring occasionally.  Once sauce has thicken remove from heat.    
Server sauce warm over your favorite waffles and a dollop of fresh whipping cream.
