Easy DIY Hot Chocolate Mix gift

Looking for an easy DIY gift for Valentine's day?
This will warm your Valentine's heart.

Target made it so easy, they are a one stop shop and we found everything we needed there.

Such as, this wonderful jar and wooden spoon, its versatile for Valentine or Christmas.

It has a wonderful wide mouth that makes it prefect for this hot chocolate mix.

On the back of Good & Gather Instant Nonfat Dry Milk we found the Festive Hot Cocoa Mix recipe to folllow.

We measured out all the ingredients.

Combined all the dry ingredients.

Blended them together.

But found we had a few lumps in our powder sugar and cocoa.

So, we did a quick run though our sifter.

Then we were able to add our mini chocolate chips.

Transferred it to our jar.

Our Valentine just needs to add four tablespoons per 8oz cup of hot milk or water.

You can even customize your Hot Chocolate with different versions.

We used the Wondershop Dark Chocolatey Hot Coco toppers in one jar.

For Christmas we found at Target Nestle Toll House Morsels & More!

These have everything you need for a Peppermint Hot Cocoa cup.

We filled condiment cups with the Nestle Toll House Morsels & More and placed them in the jar to customize your cup to your taste.

Stay warm!

Up-date:  Found this twin pack of jars in the dollar spot at Target
Not quite big enough to add the marshmallows but perfect size for the cocoa mix. I used the Avery 22808 labels and template.
